Your First Visit to Our White Oak Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Upon entering our office you will experience a very warm, home-like atmosphere and a greeting with a smile.

You will then complete an application for treatment form and present your insurance card and any test results or x-rays you may have in your possession. Before meeting with the Doctor for your consultation, our insurance manager will explain your insurance benefits and your options for payment.

Our five minute orientation video will inform you about Chiropractic. Next you will meet with our Doctor for your consultation to discuss your health goals and see if Chiropractic is likely to help you. Our thorough spinal, neurological and orthopedic exam along with muscle strength testing will help us in determining if you will be a good candidate for Chiropractic treatment. All tests are painless and non-invasive.

If necessary, x-rays will be taken to help determine the condition and position of your spinal structure and whether it is safe to adjust you. All tests and x-rays are then correlated to help identify the cause of your problem.

This visit will be approximately 45 minutes.

Dr. Consales Asks some important questions of interest to White Oak residents - Chiropractor White Oak Dr. Consales Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
