Meet Dr. Cullyn Consales
Growing up under the primary healthcare of my father, Dr. Anthony M. Consales, I was introduced to what I truly believe to be finest and highest quality form of healthcare available. At a very young age I, as with most of us, noticed the difference between health and its absence. Along with health comes joy, happiness, and an all-round better quality of life. Thus I decided to dedicate my life to learning how to help others regain their health, wellness, and happiness through intensive study.
Some of my personal interests include, bow hunting, hiking, camping, exercise, and spending time with family and friends and of course the study of health care in relation to the human body. I of course, receive chiropractic care on a regular basis, eat clean fresh food, and exercise daily.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Life-Science/Biology in the year 2007 from Juniata College and my Doctorate at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in the year 2010. At NYCC I studied multiple techniques, which involve the treatment and care of the human body including Myofacial Release Technique, Graston Technique, Sacral Occipital Technique, passive care modalities including: Interferential Current, Russian Stimulation, Galvanic Current, Ultrasound, Cold Laser, Radiographic, MRI, and CT studies, Functional Physical Rehabilitation, Clinical Nutritional Counseling, as well as pediatric and geriatric care. Outside of the institutions curriculum, I have also taken accelerated postgraduate seminars in Neuro Emotional Technique and have become a certified Professional Applied Kinesiology practitioner through the International Collage of Applied Kinesiology. Additionally I have worked as a Chiropractic technique teaching assistant with and was highly esteemed by Dr. William Lauretti DC, DACBOH,FICC, named by Maryland’s Chiropractic Association, Chiropractor of the Year in 2000. While it NYCC I also had the opportunity to traine students in the methods of the proper application of Professional Applied Kinesiology under the supervision of Dr. Mary Balliett DC of Ithaca NY, and was given the privilege of participating in a month longexternship with Applied Kinesiology Dilomate and 2009 Applied Kinesiology Alan Beardall Award winner Dr. John Corneal DC, DIBAK, of State College PA. My clinical studies include rotations at Monroe Hospital located in Rochester, NY, Seneca Falls Health Center, NY, Mercylocated in Rochester, NY, Canandaigua Veterans Affairs Hospital, NY, RochesterVeterans Affairs Hospital, NY, St. John Fisher Collage, NY and Goulds Pumpslocated in Seneca Falls, NY.
It is through these methods that I am able to treat the human body as it operates as a complex unified system without limiting my focus solely on its separate subparts. No individual is exactly same. Therefore, it is my job to treat individual patients differently and figure out what will help him or her feel better, by allowing them to regain his or her health. There is no 'cookbook' protocol used in our practice. I am not here only to relieve yourself of pain and help your body to heal itself; I am here to improve your overall quality of life. It is my personal goal to offer my patients the highest quality of health care available within the Allegheny/Westmorland County region.
